Volleyball Recap: Lompoc Takes a Loss

Lompoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cabrillo Conquistadores.

Lompoc may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Lompoc's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cabrillo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Lompoc will host Mission College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lompoc is facing Mission College Prep at the right time seeing as Mission College Prep is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Cabrillo, they will challenge Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
