Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bellingham Bayhawks. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bayhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bellingham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakewood is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bellingham will face off against rival Squalicum at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
