Meanwhile, Tracy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Rams. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.
Hayden Fell made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Emry Couch was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Taylor Sansaver was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Tracy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 25 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in five consecutive contests.
Tracy pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
