After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Agawam, West Springfield was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Ludlow Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Terriers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Springfield took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-15.

West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ludlow, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

West Springfield has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Longmeadow on the 17th. As for Ludlow, they will head out on the road to square off against Sabis International at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
