Baseball Recap: Orcutt Academy Comes Up Short

Orcutt Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-3 to the Nipomo Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 two weeks ago.

Orcutt Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Moses Aguirre, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Orcutt Academy's record is now 3-7. As for Nipomo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

While Orcutt Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
