Squalicum had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Bellingham Bayhawks with points to spare, taking the game 52-34. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Bayhawks are ranked 243rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Squalicum's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Bellingham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Squalicum will host Nooksack Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Squalicum has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Bellingham has already played their next contest (against Sehome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
