They came up short against the South Iredell Vikings, falling 38-17. The Wonders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
A.L. Brown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AJ Settles, who rushed for 43 yards, and also threw for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Tyler Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Iredell, throwing for 143 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 60 yards on only seven carries.
