Baseball Recap: Methacton Takes a Loss

Methacton lost against Upper Merion Area back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Upper Merion Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Methacton is set to square off against their familiar foe Pope John Paul II at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 2.7, Pope John Paul II 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Upper Merion Area will face off against rival Spring-Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
