Southwestern is 9-1 against Wayne County since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Wayne County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Southwestern, who comes in off a win.

While Southwestern's win against South Laurel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 2-1 on Monday. The result kept Southwestern happy, as they haven't lost a game since August 23rd.

Meanwhile, Wayne County fell victim to Pulaski County and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 1-0.

Southwestern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those ten contests. As for Wayne County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Southwestern took their win against Wayne County in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
