Soccer Game Preview: Greer vs. Daniel

Greer is 0-4 against Daniel since May of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets will take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Greer has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Greer fell victim to Seneca and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Daniel made sure to put some goals up on the board against Blue Ridge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 8-1 win. Daniel might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Greer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Daniel, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Greer might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Daniel in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
