Volleyball Recap: Pomona Comes Up Short

Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Legacy Lightning, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-11, 25-9.

Ian Metzler paced Pomona's offense, picking up three kills. Metzler got some help from Mitchell Cox and his eight assists.

Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Legacy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Pomona will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Poudre at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Legacy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rampart on the 15th.
