Soccer Recap: Ambassador Christian School Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Ambassador Christian School lost 7-1 to Winston Salem Christian. Ambassador Christian School was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Jason Thankachan, who's now up to ten this season.

With the loss, Ambassador Christian School broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Winston Salem Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-4-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Ambassador Christian School and Winston Salem Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Lions will challenge Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (158 vs. 512). Meanwhile, Winston Salem Christian (ranked 53rd) will meet Reagan (ranked 201st) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
