Football Game Preview: Blair Academy Bucs vs. Kiski School Cougars

The Blair Academy Bucs will head out on the road to challenge the Kiski School Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Blair Academy managed to slip by Pennington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bucs were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of the Red Hawks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bucs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Red Hawks are ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, Kiski School had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Blue Knights as they made off with a 20-0 victory. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Blue Knights on their field since October 15, 2016.

Blair Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kiski School, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Blair Academy couldn't quite finish off Kiski School in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 17-14. Can the Bucs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
