Volleyball Recap: Hawthorne Comes Up Short

The Hawthorne Cougars came up short against the Santa Monica Vikings on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Santa Monica, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Hawthorne will square off against Beverly Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Monica, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mid-Pacific Institute at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
