Basketball Recap: Easton Valley Takes a Loss

Easton Valley lost against Lisbon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Easton Valley took a hard 61-46 fall against the Lisbon Lions. While losing is never fun, Easton Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Lisbon is ranked 158th).

Easton Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Lisbon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

While Easton Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
