Basketball Game Preview: Lone Oak Buffaloes vs. Chisum Mustangs

Lone Oak is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Chisum is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Lone Oak Buffaloes will host the Chisum Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lone Oak is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Prairiland: they outscored them in every quarter. Lone Oak blew past Prairiland 62-38 on Friday. The Buffaloes pushed the score to 47-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Chisum earned a 63-55 victory over Prairiland on Tuesday.

Lone Oak has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Chisum, their win bumped their record up to 18-13.
