St. Thomas More kept up with Olympia until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Spartans' defense stepped up to hand the Sabers a 3-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Olympia sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit St. Thomas More with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ella Evans, Madi Barnes, and Elyse Eimer.

Olympia now has a winning record of 10-9-2. As for St. Thomas More, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Olympia will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Bloomington at 6:00 p.m. Olympia will be up against Bloomington's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.82 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Thomas More, they will square off against Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
