While Ocean Lakes won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-11.

Ocean Lakes' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Liberty Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Ocean Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Tallwood on the 2nd. As for Liberty Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Christiansburg on the 2nd.
