Baseball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jacksonville can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers on Friday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-18. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-15.

While Jacksonville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
