Basketball Recap: Blue Mountain Takes a Loss

Blue Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 39-23 bruising from the Twinfield Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-28 back in January.

Blue Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Twinfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Mountain will venture away from home to challenge Stowe at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Blue Mountain is facing Stowe at the right time seeing as Stowe is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Twinfield, they will face off against Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Williamstown will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Twinfield surely won't give up without a fight.
