Mora has gone 8-2 against Pine City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Dragons at 4:30 p.m.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Mora and Crosby-Ironton have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers.

Meanwhile, Pine City put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Rush City get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The game was the first time the Dragons have beaten the Tigers on their field since May 17, 2019.

Ezrah Barth made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Caleb Hogberg was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Jacob Staber was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mora's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for Pine City, their record is now 3-0.

Mora got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Pine City by a conclusive 15-2 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
