Nevada Union's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 72-42 win over the Del Campo Cougars. The Miners' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Morgan, who threw for 215 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 56 yards on only seven carries. The Cougars' leading receiver Isaiah Richmond was Morgan's top target yet again, picking up 129 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 40 yards.

With the victory, Nevada Union broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Del Campo, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
