Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Triumphs

Chillicothe won the last time they faced Kauffman, and Jaishon White did his part to make sure it happened again. The Chillicothe Hornets skirted past Kauffman 52-49 thanks in part to White, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Chillicothe's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Max Probasco, who posted five points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (two).

Chillicothe's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Kauffman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Coming up, Chillicothe is taking a road trip to take on Savannah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kauffman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
