Softball Game Preview: Blue Hills RVT Warriors vs. Diman RVT Bengals

Blue Hills RVT is 0-10 against Diman RVT since May of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bengals at 3:30 p.m.

Blue Hills RVT is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 7-1 to Southeastern RVT. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jayden Craft was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Diman RVT waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Craftsmen a 3-0 shutout.

Not much got past Avyonna Cartin, who gave up just eight hits and racked up six Ks to keep Bristol-Plymouth RVT off the board. Cartin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kacie Lynch, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Raposa, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Diman RVT now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Blue Hills RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
