Soccer Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Monroe and Pioneer have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Pioneers. While losing is never fun, Monroe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Pioneer are ranked 50th).

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Pioneer, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monroe is set to face off against their familiar foe Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pioneer will square off against rival Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
