Basketball Recap: Graham Local Takes a Loss

Graham Local lost against Cedarville back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Graham Local Falcons took a 53-39 bruising from the Cedarville Indians. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Graham Local saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zoey Conn dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. Conn also set a new season-high mark in steals with five. Riley McAlexander was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Graham Local's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cedarville, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Graham Local wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-34 win against Shawnee on the 14th. As for Cedarville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-50 loss against Greenon on the 11th.
