Enumclaw and White River pushed the score to 16-4 the last time they played White River, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. Enumclaw's pitcher stepped up to hand White River a 3-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for Enumclaw as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Not much got past Alyssa Harris, who gave up just four hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep White River off the board. Harris has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ava Lim was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Enumclaw's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for White River, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enumclaw will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for White River, they are taking a road trip to face off against Auburn Mountainview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 13.1 runs per game this season.
