Recap: Brunswick Railroaders vs. Clear Spring Blazers
The Brunswick Railroaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Clear Spring 62-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Gabby Stefanic and Andie Welsh certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Stefanic scored 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Welsh dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. Welsh is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Maddy Hoffman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Brunswick has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Clear Spring, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.
