Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodstock). They managed a 66-61 victory over the North Cobb Christian Eagles on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wolverines' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Eagles are ranked 28th).

North Cobb Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Grant Robich, who went 8 of 15 en route to 18 points along with six assists and five steals, and Brock Bass Bonner, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 26 points. The game was Robich's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wiseman, who posted eight points.

Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for North Cobb Christian, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Woodstock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-71 win against New Manchester on the 28th. As for North Cobb Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-45 defeat against Albany Academy for Boys on the 28th.
