North Rowan is 7-2 against North Stanly since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. North Rowan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Krisstyle Stockton, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards, and Dasia Elder, who posted 20 points along with five boards and three blocks. Allanah McAuthur was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, North Stanly was beaten by Union Academy 51-17 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost four in a row.

North Rowan dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for North Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything came up roses for North Rowan against North Stanly in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, as the team secured a 48-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Rowan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
