It was a good run, but Wisconsin School for the Deaf unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Sunday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners. The Firebirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Roadrunners from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Wisconsin School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Wisconsin School for the Deaf has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Academy of Excellence on the 14th. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 12th.
