Chimacum proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by five) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Port Angeles Roughriders 3-2. For the Cowboys, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Roughriders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Chimacum's record now sits at 2-0. As for Port Angeles, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chimacum will face off against South Whidbey at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Angeles, they will take on North Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give North Mason their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
