Homer-Center never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against West Shamokin on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 15-10. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Wolves on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Rado, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one double. Noah Turk also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Homer-Center is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for West Shamokin, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Coming up, Homer-Center will host Kiski School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Shamokin, they will head out on the road to take on River Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
