Football Recap: Euclid Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Berea-Midpark

The Euclid Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-26 win over the Berea-Midpark Titans on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Titans are ranked 135th).

The win got Euclid back to even at 1-1. As for Berea-Midpark, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Euclid will venture away from home to square off against Hilliard Darby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berea-Midpark, they will square off against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
