After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stanley, Northwood was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Loyola College Prep Flyers. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Flyers: they've now won five in a row.

Devan Ashby made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero). She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
