After flying high against Hamilton two weeks ago, Mitchell came back down to earth. The Mitchell Tigers'2024 ended with a 43-25 loss against the Bolton Wildcats on Monday. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mitchell's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla McCaster, who posted five points in addition to eight boards and seven steals. The dominant performance gave McCaster a new career-high in boards.
