Basketball Recap: Smithton Comes Up Short

Smithton lost against Sacred Heart back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Smithton Tigers took a 78-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacred Heart Gremlins.

Smithton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Smithton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 83-68 defeat against Prairie Home on the 14th. Sacred Heart has also already played their next contest, a 49-31 loss against Kingsville on the 14th.
