While Centennial didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Oaks Christian Lions by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Despite the defeat, Oaks Christian had strong showings from Max Medrano, who had seven digs and one assist, and Chase Jenkins, who had eight assists and five digs.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Oaks Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Village Christian on the 28th. As for Oaks Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Brentwood School on the 28th.
