Baseball Recap: Mansfield Christian Comes Up Short

Mansfield Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Central Christian Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

Mansfield Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Hillman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mansfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Central Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mansfield Christian will square off against Harvest Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
