Crown Point has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lake Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Crown Point is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Munster a 5-0 shutout. Crown Point have beaten Munster the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Munster has come to flipping the script.

Crown Point hit Munster with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rhea Grzych (3), Hannah Pesich, and Addy Sabau.

Meanwhile, Lake Central made easy work of Hammond Central on Thursday and carried off a 9-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lake Central's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Hammond Central are ranked 199th).

Crown Point's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Lake Central, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Crown Point beat Lake Central by a goal when the teams last played back in August, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
