Volleyball Recap: Musselman's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Musselman had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Washington on Tuesday. The Applemen blew past the Patriots 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Applemen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-19.

Musselman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bianca Hutzler, who had 16 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Hutzler has posted over her last seven games. Reese Troxler was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

Musselman's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

After both having extra time off, Musselman and Spring Mills will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they will challenge Winfield at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
