Softball Recap: Pompano Beach Comes Up Short

Pompano Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Glades Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Tornadoes of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pompano Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DANI EBERT, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Pompano Beach now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Coral Glades, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pompano Beach will take on Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coral Glades, they will challenge Spanish River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
