For the second straight game, Alden will face off against Eden. The Bulldogs will face off against the Raiders at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Alden is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Alden didn't have quite enough to beat Eden and fell 5-4.

Alden saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Peresan, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Peresan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Alex Amedick also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory (which was Eden's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Alden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
