Basketball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

Huntington suffered their biggest loss since December 7th on Thursday. They took a blow against the Cisco Loboes, falling 59-31. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 620th, while the Loboes are ranked 105th).

Huntington now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Cisco, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huntington will host Diboll at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Cisco, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawley at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
