Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin took on Edgewood on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Franklin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-13, 25-15, 25-17.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin fell to 3-1. As for Edgewood, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will venture away from home to square off against Talawanda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgewood, they will challenge Oak Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
