Basketball Recap: Encampment Takes a Loss

Encampment suffered their biggest defeat since January 17th on Thursday. They came up short against the Little Snake River Rattlers, falling 62-41. The Tigers have struggled against the Rattlers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Little Snake River's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tymber Cozzens, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcos Marquez, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Encampment's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Little Snake River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Encampment does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Little Snake River, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cokeville at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Cokeville sitting on four straight wins and Little Snake River on seven.
