Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, West was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Olympus Titans, falling 12-2. The Panthers have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Olympus, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, West will host Hurricane at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Olympus, they will venture away from home to face off against East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
