Soccer Game Preview: Simsbury vs. New Milford + How To Watch

The Simsbury Trojans will head out to challenge the New Milford Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Simsbury is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Bethel, who was ranked seventh at the time (Simsbury was ranked 15th). The Trojans never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Monday. Simsbury's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Milford had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolverines, sneaking past 3-2. New Milford haven't had any issues with Abbott RVT recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
