Baseball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the East Leopards. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 last Tuesday.

Keegan Butler was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for East, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-10.

While Highland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
