A Season-Best Effort from Emmett Evans Leads Parkwood over West Stanly

On Friday, Parkwood got the W thanks in part to Emmett Evans playing the best football he has all season. Evans threw for 382 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.3 yards per attempt.

Parkwood's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Evans and Parkwood will look to defend their home field on Friday against Forest Hills at 7:00 p.m.

Kaegan Chambers Delivers Best Performance of Season

Monroe was led to victory by Kaegan Chambers, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Chambers threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Anson's probably not too fond of Chambers given he always seems to get the better of them. When Chambers last faced the Bearcats back in October of 2023, he threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards.

Zach Dillworth produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Forest Hills to the win on Friday. Dillworth threw for 287 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Forest Hills has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Dillworth and Forest Hills will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Parkwood at 7:00 p.m.

A Season-Best Effort from Nisiah Smith Leads Parkwood over West Stanly

On Friday, Parkwood got the W thanks in part to Nisiah Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith picked up 211 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.

This year, Smith has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 52.8 receiving yards per game.

Lindsey Came Up Big in Monroe's 55-0 Victory
